When you press “send” on your college application, what happens next?
Many colleges decide which students to admit by meeting as a committe to discuss each applicant. How does that work? How do they decide? Get some insight into college admissions in this mock admissions exercise, where you get to put yourself in the shoes of an admissions officer and consider student applications and make decisions. This will help students getting ready to apply to college, but it can even provide insight to younger students, who might wonder how their high school activities and experiences prepare them for college.
The Workshop will be led by Admissions Representatives from MIT and Washington University in St. Louis.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the admissions process (wherever you plan to apply). You can also learn more about MIT and Washington University in St. Louis whether you plan to apply this year or are a younger high schooler just starting to build your college list.
